How do I choose the right product?

What sizes do Alkem products come in?
The majority of our highly dilutable chemical products are packaged in 5, 10, 20 and 210 litre containers. Our ready to use cleaning products usually come in 750ml and 1 litre bottles. Dry products such as laundry powders are usually packaged in 10kg and 15kg tubs. Automotive products vary from 5 litre and 20 litre containers with TFR’s also supplied in 210 litre drums if required.
What are your minimum orders?
Within *reason there are no minimum orders for account customers.
We do not have a hard sell policy, you just have what you need when you need it.
How soon can I have my delivery?
As we are extremely customer focused you can rely on our express delivery service. We usually arrange delivery times/days that suit our customers going forward. Our vans are always on the road and it has been known for us *when possible to get a delivery out same day.
I need advice?
No problem, our friendly advice is readily available whenever you have a query or question relating to hygiene or cleaning matters.
Can you help me with ordering?
Yes we are always happy to help. We endeavor to satisfy all requirements e.g. one option offered to busy buyers is our ‘stock check and supply’ service. Operated on a regular basis, our customers using this option benefit in maintaining sufficient stock levels, eliminating over/under ordering or error ordering. If you think this option may suit you or you have any concerns with stock control, please speak to us.
Do you provide COSHH training?
Yes we do. Our highly trained personnel offer expert advice on health & safety issues and provide COSHH Awareness / product training for your staff and operatives. This service is provided free to account customers.
Do you cover my area?
We cover the majority of UK and Northern Ireland through our distributor network. Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, London, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Tyne and Wear, County Durham and up to and including the Scottish Borders. Arrangements could be made to support customers outside of these areas – please call to discuss.
Is my dishwash/glasswash machine using to much detergent?
We will attend, run a series of tests and ensure the dosing equipment is set at the correct dosage. This service is provided free to our account customers.
